In The Works!!! Activity Center We are in the process of developing an Activity Center in the Rio Rancho/Albuquerque area. We will keep you posted as things develop!!! Classes Classes Classes We have over 12 classes available. We will hold these on a regular basis when the Activity Center is open. However!!! If you would like to have us come to your meeting place to hold a class, just let us know! Our classes are open to any group: kids, adults, seniors, organized groups or . . . unorganized groups! If you have a place to meet, we will bring the class! Mission Medieval Living, Inc., is a not for profit organization supporting the education of children and adults alike about the history and culture of the Medieval era. By teaching hands-on crafts, skills and trades, we are hoping that children develop an interest in self-sufficiency – that they are able to make things for themselves, without relying on what commercial manu-facturers produce. Through teaching about the history and culture of the Medieval era, we also hope to emphasize the value of civility – something that is quickly fading from our present day society. While we’re at it, we hope that everyone has a lot of fun – that the activities and classes are enjoyable and produce lasting memories! During 2011, we will offer classes on chainmail armor making, leather craft, weaving (four different types of looms), music, timberframe construction, Medieval games, and many more.
